At the beginning of all new projects I offer a free initial meeting at the potential job site, or at the client's home. During this meeting we discuss the scope of the project and my services. I provide conceptual sketches and consultation to complete construction documents and construction observation. I also work closely with a variety of local consultants to ensure that all aspects of the design are planned properly.
 
The design process is broken down into four major phases; Schematic Design/Design Development, Construction Drawings, Bidding and Construction Observation. These phases include the following:

Construction Observation:

I offer weekly site visits and provide direct communication with contactors, other design professionals and the owner throughout the construction process.

 
At the end of each design phase an invoice for work completed to date will be issued base on an agreed upon hourly rate. No upfront fees are required. I assist my clients and their selected general contractor to obtain all necessary permits, or approvals.
